We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join us as an Intelligence Development Administrator, within a national policing unit working to ensure safer communities in the UK and around the world.

The role will provide an excellent opportunity to gain experience working with law enforcement agencies and private sector stakeholders. The successful applicant will provide advice and support to the criminal investigations of the NaVCIS team, specifically NAVCIS Ports Officers and law enforcement throughout the UK.

The National Vehicle Crime Intelligence Service (NaVCIS) is a national police unit, hosted by Hampshire Constabulary but based near Coventry. We work closely with partner agencies across law enforcement and the private sector in order to better understand and mitigate the threats posed by vehicle theft.
Motor finance fraud and vehicle theft offences impacts upon victims and communities, the national economy and demands placed upon law enforcement agencies. Through effective partnership working NaVCIS seeks to prevent offences of motor finance fraud and theft of motor vehicles through the targeting of OCGs and their disposal routes, by investigating, developing and sharing specialist intelligence to support law enforcement investigations to prevent crime and disrupt organised criminality.
The successful applicant will support the senior leadership team in protecting the UK from vehicle finance fraud, theft of motor vehicle and disposal of stolen vehicles, providing assistance to colleagues in the NaVCIS Investigation Team.
The role holder may be required to visit various locations throughout the UK, this may also require overnight stays and therefore needs to have the ability to travel as necessary.
There may be a requirement to work unsocial hours occasionally to respond to operational demands for which the appropriate recompense will be paid.
