The Brighton and Hove Street Outreach Service is offering an exciting opportunity to recruit a Team Leader in the Navigator Team of the Service. Having experience of working with people who have multiple complex needs and knowledge of homelessness and immigration law is essential.
The post holder will lead the Navigator team that supports clients who are on the Target & Priority group and those who are at risk of being evicted or abandoning accommodation and returning to the street. Offering supervision, appraisals and leading in team meetings where required. Having good knowledge of the city and good partnership links is desirable.

Full Time Hours: 37.5 per week
Full time Salary: 35,220.59 - 37,184.91 depending on experience, pro rata for part time hours
Contract: Fixed Term Contract until 31st March 2026.
Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.
Responsibilities
As Team Leader, you will:
Provide day-to-day leadership, guidance, and supervision to the outreach team.
Support staff on shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and bank holidays, to ensure safe and effective practice.
Build strong relationships with key partners, including enforcement teams and accommodation providers, to deliver joined-up responses to rough sleeping.
Ensure services achieve positive outcomes for people who sleep rough while addressing issues such as street activity and antisocial behaviour in a proactive way.
Play an active role within the service's management team, allocating caseloads, monitoring performance, and maintaining high-quality standards.
What we're looking for:
You'll bring:
Experience working within homelessness or housing services, with a solid understanding of assertive outreach approaches.
Knowledge of homelessness, housing, welfare, and benefits systems.
A strong grasp of mental health, substance misuse, and the challenges faced by people with complex needs.
The ability to stay organised, manage a busy service, and respond flexibly to changing demands.
Commitment to reducing rough sleeping and supporting individuals to achieve positive, lasting change.
