Position: NDT Quality Control Inspectors

Location: Deeside

Package: 47,000 per annum (24.11 per hour) + Overtime (40% & 80%) + Productivity Bonus + Travel Allowance

Hours: Monday - Thursday 7am - 3.30pm / Friday 7am - 12.30pm (37.5 hours per week)

Contract: Permanent

We're excited to be supporting a long-standing, reputable engineering manufacturer in Deeside who is currently seeking a Quality Control Inspector to join their quality team on a permanent basis.

Reporting to the Lead Quality Control Inspector, this role will focus on maintaining the highest standards of welding and fabrication quality, ensuring compliance with contract specifications, safety protocols, and nuclear sector regulations.
This is a hands-on role with a strong emphasis on inspection, documentation, and quality control throughout all manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities - NDT Quality Control Inspectors:

Conduct inspections on welds and fabrication work to ensure they meet technical and contractual standards Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to carry out compliance checks Perform dimensional and visual inspections at goods inwards and across the workshop Generate and maintain inspection documentation, reports, and quality records Ensure compliance with nuclear safety standards, fabrication procedures, and client-specific requirements Promote a culture of high-quality workmanship and continuous improvement Work collaboratively with production, HSEQ, and client representatives Maintain clean, safe working environments, adhering to all health & safety policies

What We're Looking For - NDT Quality Control Inspectors:

Essential:

CSWIP 3.1 Certification Strong understanding of modern welding procedures Excellent attention to detail and communication skills Proactive, interrogative approach with the ability to flag concerns and ensure corrective action Comfortable working in a nuclear/manufacturing environment
Desirable:

PCN Level 2 Certifications in: Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) Dye Penetrant Radiographic Interpretation Experience working to nuclear safety standards Familiarity with CFSI (Counterfeit, Fraudulent and Suspect Items)
