Our client, is currently seeking an NEC Project Manager to manage their Highways Framework in Northern Ireland. This contract role is crucial in delivering highway and road infrastructure projects.

Job description
Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage civil engineering works related to highways and road schemes.
  • Act as the named NEC Project Manager, overseeing all contract obligations.
  • Administer the NEC3/NEC4 contract including early warnings, compensation events, and programme updates.
  • Liaise with contractors, designers, local authorities, and internal project teams.
  • Monitor performance against cost, quality, and time objectives.
  • Chair progress meetings and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders.
  • Ensure CDM and HSE compliance across all phases of the project.
Job Requirements:
  • Substantial experience delivering highways/roads projects under NEC contracts.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of NEC3 or NEC4.
  • Strong client-facing and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • NEC Project Manager Accreditation (desirable but not essential).
  • Chartered or working toward chartership with ICE, APM or a similar body (preferred).
  • Must be eligible to work in the UK and willing to work on-site in Northern Ireland as needed.
