Casual Car Documentation - The successful candidate will be a designated Casual Car User which means that car journeys may be necessary on an occasional basis, but are not essential to the role. If you do drive, you must always hold a full valid driving licence and provide your own car for use at work, as well as provide all the appropriate documentation. You will receive an allowance per mile of business use.
BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) clearance - this post is subject to BPSS checks. You will therefore be required to consent to and comply with BPSS checking requirements prior to commencing in this post. This check involves verification of identity; nationality and immigration status; employment history (past 3 years) and basic criminal record check.
The post offers an exciting opportunity to be involved in helping to stop environmental crime in the North of the city. You will be based at the Abraham Moss offices working closely with various partners to make our Neighbourhoods safe and clean places to live and work. The role holder will be responsible for a varied caseload that will include requests for service undertaking investigations and where necessary taking enforcement action.

About the Candidate
A full understanding of legislation and enforcement procedures are required for this post. Excellent communication skills are essential as the role involves advising on and explaining compliance and enforcement processes to a number of audiences including residents, businesses, stakeholders, partners ensuring that information and potential solutions are communicated effectively.
