new Neighbourhood Officer roles

at

Wythenshawe Community Housing Group (WCHG)

These new positions form part of our continued investment in neighbourhood services, ensuring we deliver outstanding, customer-focused housing support across Wythenshawe. About the Role




As a Neighbourhood Officer, you'll play a key role in providing a high-quality, customer-focused housing management service across your locality. You'll actively engage with residents, spending time out on your patch to understand local issues, build relationships, and make a real difference in the community.


Working as part of a supportive team, you'll take ownership of tenancy and estate management within your area, helping to maintain safe, well-managed neighbourhoods where people are proud to live.

What You'll Be Doing



Delivering high-quality tenancy and estate management services Managing a defined patch, engaging with tenants, and resolving local issues Handling tenancy changes, allocations, and low-level anti-social behaviour Supporting residents to sustain their tenancies and access wider services Working collaboratively with colleagues and partners to ensure joined-up service delivery Ensuring estates are well-maintained, safe, and compliant with relevant standards Promoting WCHG's values through excellent customer service and community engagement

What We're Looking For



Experience in tenancy and estate management within a housing environment Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with a focus on customer care Ability to handle low-level ASB, allocations, and tenancy issues effectively Good knowledge of housing-related legislation and best practice (desirable) A proactive and visible approach to working within communities Confident working both independently and as part of a wider team Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
A

full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle

is essential due to travel between sites.
