Working in the Neighbourhood Team you will work closely with colleagues to provide a comprehensive housing management service to our residents, supporting them to maintain their tenancies. Please note, this is a 12 Month fixed term contract available for someone to join our hardworking Neighbourhood Services Team.

You will be responsible for a broad range of duties including developing neighbourhood improvements and enforcement of tenancy conditions. You will also be dealing with abandoned and sub-let properties, estate management, nuisance / anti-social behaviour and representing the organisation at external and resident meetings as appropriate.

  • Working closely and effectively with other teams across the business and external partners to help residents to deal with a range of issues affecting their tenancies
  • Manage all cases of anti-social behaviour using the policy of prevention then intervention and instigate legal action as necessary
  • Consult residents on local service standards
  • Liaise with residents and repairs partners to assist in resolving complex repairs issues and complaints
  • Assist tenants with support needs to access services to enable tenancy sustainment
  • Promote resident involvement by attending and servicing meetings
You will have/be:
  • Previous Housing Management experience
  • A good understanding of customer care and quality issues
  • Knowledge/experience of dealing with ASB and taking enforcement action
  • Previous experience within a housing association or local authority will be an advantage
  • A recognised qualification in housing management or relevant degree is desirable but not essential
This is a challenging role requiring a proven track record of neighbourhood and tenancy management, coupled with the ability to deliver excellent customer service. You will have a flexible approach to working hours including attending evening meetings when required.
