We are looking for a customer focussed Neighbourhood Team Leader to come and join us. The Neighbourhood team is at the frontline of fostering strong relationships, empowering tenants, and driving positive change in our communities as well as providing effective tenancy and estate management services.

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference to our customers and communities. We are looking for an individual who is ready to build trust and support service delivery with our tenants.

What does the role entail?

As the Neighbourhood Team Leader, you\'ll manage the delivery of our neighbourhood team and services, whilst working closely with other team leaders. You\'ll have the exciting responsibility to:

Deliver the operational tenancy and estate management services and supervision of the neighbourhood team.

Directly managed caseloads for all decants, succession requests, assignments and starter tenancies.

Support the Head of Tenancy Services with the development of services, processes, and procedures, as well as complaint resolution.

Oversee a positive customer journey and meet key performance outcomes and service standards.

Be professional, approachable, and accessible to customers, communicating openly and ensuring they are kept updated as appropriate.

Provide specialist knowledge and technical expertise to other teams in respect of tenancy and estate management services.

Do I need any specific skills?

We believe that passion, dedication, and a positive attitude can work wonders. While specific qualifications are great, we\'re as interested in finding someone who:

Is experienced in dealing with difficult customer facing situations.

Has specialist expert knowledge in a housing association or tenancy management related field.

Has a proven track record of delivery at an operational level.

Is a competent written and verbal communicator.

Is proficient in using technology, including Microsoft Office software.

Can takes ownership and accountability for the success and performance management of their team.

Has a full UK driving licence and access to a car insured for business use.

And is ideally qualified to HNC level or higher in a relevant subject area and/or Chartered Institute of Housing qualified or equivalent.
