Nepalese Interpreter
Job Description
We are looking for a professionally qualified Nepalese Interpreter to provide accurate and culturally sensitive interpretation and translation services between Nepalese and English. The role requires exceptional linguistic ability and strict adherence to professional ethics in diverse settings like medical, legal, and social services.
Key Responsibilities
Provide accurate, real-time interpretation (consecutive and simultaneous) and translate written documents from Nepalese to English and vice-versa.
Maintain strict confidentiality, impartiality, and adhere to professional ethical standards.
Clearly and accurately convey information, including specialized terminology, while preserving original meaning and tone.
Qualifications
Certification: MUST possess a professional interpreter certification from a recognized national or international organization like CIL2, CIL3 or DPSI.
Linguistic Proficiency Native or near-native fluency in both Nepalese and English.
Required Skills
In-depth knowledge of cultural nuances and idioms.
Ability to remain calm, professional, and composed under pressure.
Flexibility and adaptability.
Job Types: Part-time, Freelance
Pay: 15.00-20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 2 per week
Work Location: On the road
