We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sports coaching and teaching, with the ability to inspire and motivate athletes of all skill levels. This role involves developing training programmes, providing guidance during practices and competitions, and fostering a positive team environment. This will be based in a primary school in

London, SW9.

Responsibilities

Design and implement training sessions tailored to the needs of individual athletes and the team as a whole. Provide technical instruction in various sports techniques and strategies. Assess athletes' performance and provide constructive feedback for improvement. Foster teamwork, sportsmanship, and a positive attitude among team members. Organise and lead practices, ensuring that all sessions are engaging and productive. Monitor the physical and mental well-being of athletes, promoting healthy habits and resilience. Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and other staff members regarding progress and expectations. Maintain records of athlete performance and attendance.

Requirements

Proven experience in sports coaching or teaching is essential. Strong knowledge of the sport(s) being coached, including rules, techniques, and strategies. Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also demonstrating leadership qualities. A commitment to fostering a safe and inclusive environment for all participants. Relevant coaching qualifications or certifications would be advantageous but are not mandatory.
