About the team:
The Network team are responsible for the core connectivity of the company by monitoring and managing the rapidly expanding network infrastructure.
What you will be doing?:
You will be the second line of support for all incidents, requests, problems and changes associated with the networks. You'll also support with installation, configuration and maintenance of physical and virtual network components.
The key purpose of this role is to support BAU activity by ensuring the business has stable, performant and secure systems from a day to day operational perspective.
Your responsibilities will include...
Incident management: all support requests to be managed within agreed service level agreements
Problem management: addressing recurring issues and escalating where necessary
Identifying, diagnosing and resolving technical problems related to network failure or integrity
Delivering on agreed timelines for all change requests and project deliverables to ensure the professional and safe delivery into production environments
Acting as second line support presence for business critical network services including voice and data
Supporting the Network Services team in Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Planning tests/events
Travelling between offices, branch and disaster recovery sites as and when required
Please be aware that due to the nature of the work there will be out of hours work involved with this position

Do you have the skills?:
We are looking for talented individuals who have the experience and knowledge set out below:
Experience supporting Network and Telephony technologies in a corporate IT infrastructure role
Excellent understanding of firewalls, best practice, security, VLANs, custom, as well as configuration around DNS, and DHCP
Have experience in and strong understanding of Cisco and Palo Alto
Relevant network certifications (CCNA)
