Our client is looking to recruit a Network Engineer to join their growing UK Team.

Based from their Bracknell head office, this role is customer-facing both in person and remotely supporting from design, set up and service delivery with continuous service improvement and touch point with our prestigious clients.

Their mission is to adhere to our compliance regulations, with zero downtime to give a service that is second to none. They are a team of hard-working individuals who are driven by service excellence to support the business, this really is a team who are passionate about the delivery of a reliable global business operation and the network service performance, which in essence underpins the application and service delivery.

This role would suit a fresh graduate or junior network engineer looking to progress. Regardless of your prior experience level in networking if you have passion and desire we would like to hear from you.

As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Network optimisation and improvement: optimise the network by monitoring performance, troubleshooting problems and outages, scheduling upgrades and collaborating with the team on network optimisation and improvement with global cover. Implement tools & automation to improve quality and reduce effort. Deliver industry leading network security operations.
  • Problem solving: diagnose and quickly resolve a wide range of networking issues to ensure our platforms maintain their high availability for international clients. Pro-actively address security threats, delivering a competition beating service in both quality and cost.
  • Service management: deliver network services to customers (both external & internal), maximising satisfaction and meeting SLAs. Pro-actively monitor and troubleshoot incidents and problems prior to customer service impact where possible. Contribute to customer solution designs and the cloud innovation roadmap.
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
  • A Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent in a technical subject.
  • An interest in Software Network Engineering.
  • An understanding of Data Center networking (Nexus, VX-LANs, SANs) and WAN networking is desirable, but not essential.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Good oral and written skills.
  • Creative problem solving skills. .
