Network Field Engineer - ISP, Routers, SNMP Southwest - \xc2\xa335,000 - \xc2\xa340,000 Applause IT are proud to be working with a leading telecoms business looking to recruit a Network Field Engineer covering their Southwest region. You will be responsible for creating technical solutions centred around routing and switching technologies in alignment with technical roadmaps and emerging customer needs. Sustaining and enhancing product configurations, alongside providing supporting documentation for utilization by network design, installation, and operational support teams. The successful Network Field Engineer will have experience in the following:
- Demonstrated expertise as a network engineer within the ISP/Telecoms sector.
- A strong command of common internet and networking protocols.
- Proficiency in Routing and Switching protocols.
- An outstanding grasp of the SNMP protocol.
- Competence in security protocols and firewalls.
- Hands-on experience in incident management processes and prioritization.
- Advanced familiarity with monitoring systems and a deep understanding of monitoring best practices.
- A sound understanding of the RADIUS protocol.
- Knowledge of Wi-Fi standards and fundamental wireless principles.
- Proficiency in designing network infrastructures.
