Job Description

The aim of this post is to significantly increase the trainee's ability to diagnose and manage the full range of Neuro-ophthalmic problems including disorders of the afferent and efferent pathways. The desired end result is that the trainee will be competent to manage a neuro-ophthalmology service as a sub-specialist. There will be particular attention to developing the trainee's knowledge of neuroradiology including regular interaction with the imaging department. There will be specific training in the management of acute neuro-ophthalmology including liaison with the inpatient neurology service Funding is available for approved study leave as defined in the Trust study leave policy.

Full time administrative secretarial support is provided.
