Job Overview:
We are looking for a highly organised and proactive High-Level Administrator to support our growing New Build Department. This role will be pivotal in ensuring smooth financial processing, compliance management, and administrative efficiency while driving process improvements as the business expands.
Key Responsibilities:
Payroll & Compliance:
Process and check wages accurately, ensuring all information is provided and correct.
Verify that plumbers have submitted all relevant details for registering boilers and waste-water recovery units.
Financial Administration:
Work alongside Operations Manager to manage invoicing processes and assist in chasing outstanding payments.
Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and supplier/customer accounts.
Personnel Administration:
Keep personnel files accurate, secure, and up to date.
Assist with new starter onboarding documentation and HR compliance tasks.
Health & Safety & Process Improvement:
Support the implementation and monitoring of health and safety practices.
Help streamline and implement new processes to improve efficiency within the department.
Growth & Development:
Take initiative in identifying areas for improvement and be willing to grow within the role as the department and company expand.
Skills & Experience:
Strong administrative and organisational skills.
Experience in payroll, invoicing, or financial administration preferred.
Knowledge of HR processes and health & safety compliance is an advantage.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage multiple priorities.
Proficient in MS Office and general office software; familiarity with accounting software desirable.
Pay rate:
13.00 - 15.00 depending on experience
Hours:
Normal working hours are 08:00 - 16:45 (40 hours per week), but we can accommodate a 09:00 - 15:00 working day if it is required or preferred (27.5 hours per week)
