Registrations Assistant
to join our busy and dynamic
New Build
team based in our modern Farnborough office.
The New Build team handles a high volume of property transactions annually, and this role will be integral in supporting the accurate and efficient post-completion process, particularly with Land Registry registrations and related administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities
These will include (but are not limited to):
Prepare and submit Land Registry applications for property transfers, mortgages, and other transactions.
Track applications and respond promptly to requisitions raised by the Land Registry.
Ensure the registration of titles and other documents is completed within required timescales.
Maintain accurate records and files for all registration matters.
Manage databases and update internal systems to reflect the status of registrations.
Liaise with clients, solicitors, and third parties to gather and provide required information.
Keep clients and solicitors updated on the progress of their registrations.
Handle enquiries from clients regarding registration matters.
Work closely with conveyancers, solicitors, and other team members to ensure a smooth workflow.
Assist with general conveyancing duties as needed.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate that they are capable of working on their own initiative, whilst being a strong team player, and can communicate with a wide range of individuals. An ability to consistently maintain high standards will be essential as will excellent IT skills. You must be comfortable with communicating with clients on a wide range of platforms (video calls, face to face, email and telephone). You will need to demonstrate that you are able to work under pressure, to tight deadlines without compromising on service to our clients.
Applicants must possess at least 5 GCSE's grades 9 to 4 including Maths and English. A full driving licence is also essential. Experience of working in a legal environment is not required, although experience within an office environment will be an advantage. Data entry skills will be essential as well as good attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
