What is the role?
The New Business Account Manager role is critical to driving revenue growth by identifying, acquiring, and developing new customer relationships. You will focus on generating leads, securing new clients, and expanding the Company's customer base within the SME sector. Working closely with the sales, business operations, and technical teams, your goal will be to understand clients' needs, promote our services, and provide tailored solutions to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
Location
There will be a mixture of working from our office in Leicestershire, home working and visiting UK wide branch offices.
Key responsibilities will include:
Prospecting and Business Development: Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within the SME sector.
Building New Relationships: Develop strong relationships with new clients, ensuring they understand the full value of our IT, Telecoms, and Cloud service offerings.
Pipeline Management: Effectively manage and grow a sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and timely achievement of sales targets.
Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with business operations, technical, and other internal departments to ensure seamless onboarding and integration for new clients.
Revenue and Margin Targets: Achieve revenue and margin growth targets by developing new client accounts and fostering long-term partnerships.
You need to be:
An ambitious, self-motivated professional with outstanding communication skills and a natural ability to build rapport. You are organised, adaptable, and able to remain calm under pressure, with a consultative approach to explaining complex IT solutions to potential clients.
Knowledge and Experience:
A minimum of 1 Year in the IT industry, ideally within the MSP arena
At least one year in a sales or business development role, ideally with experience in managing revenue and profit streams.
Excellent Communication and Relationship-Building Skills: You can confidently connect with potential clients and articulate the value of our services.
Commercial Awareness: You understand the principles of revenue growth, cost management, and profitability.
Customer-Centric: A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and understanding clients' unique needs.
