Role Summary
As a
New Business Acquisition Associate
, you will play a crucial role in identifying and securing new business opportunities across the waste management and construction services sector. Reporting to the Sales Manager, your primary responsibility is to generate leads, convert prospects into long-term clients, and support sustainable revenue growth for the business.
This is a performance-driven role with high earning potential and real opportunities for advancement.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Prospecting
Identify and research new market opportunities and potential clients within the construction, commercial, and industrial sectors.
Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through cold calling, networking, and digital outreach.
Qualify leads and follow up with timely, professional communication.
Client Acquisition
Deliver compelling sales pitches tailored to the client's specific needs and pain points.
Conduct meetings alongside the Sales Manager with potential clients to explain service offerings and value propositions.
Collaborate with internal teams to create bespoke waste and hire solutions.
Sales Target Management
Meet and exceed monthly KPIs and revenue targets.
Provide accurate weekly and monthly reporting of sales activity, new accounts, and closed deals.
Track all leads and communications in the CRM system.
Relationship Building
Foster long-term client relationships and support onboarding for new accounts.
Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends and competitors to strengthen market position.
What We're Looking For
Proven experience in B2B sales, ideally within waste management, construction hire, plant hire, or industrial services.
Strong communication and negotiation skills with a confident, client-facing presence.
Proactive attitude and self-motivated with a desire to hit targets and grow professionally.
Ability to manage time effectively and work both independently and as part of a team.
Familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
