Qi Van Systems is a market-leading specialist in the design, manufacture, and conversion of commercial vehicles. We provide innovative racking, storage, and safety solutions for some of the UK's largest fleets. With ambitious growth plans, we're expanding our sales team to strengthen our presence in the utility and fleet sectors.
Responsible for winning new business and building long-term relationships with fleet operators, leasing companies, and strategic partners.
Key Tasks
Management of all new business sales activities resulting in the acquisition of new clients and achievement of sales targets, aligned the with growth strategy within the Utility and Infrastructure sectors.
Prepare and implement sales plans and new client acquisition strategies.
Proactively identify and target new business opportunities within the fleet and utility sectors.
Develop and grow the new business Sales Pipeline and provide regular sales forecasts based on insights.
Develop tailored proposals and bids, working closely with the Head of Commercial and technical teams.
Provide client, industry, competitor and potential new product insights.
Achieve and exceed new business revenue targets.
Maintain accurate records in CRM and report regularly on progress.
Measures of Success
Activity - meetings secured, opportunities generated and quotations submitted.
Sales pipeline - quality and value.
New business - new accounts opened, order intake and revenues v targets.
Requirements
Proven track record in business development or sales, ideally within automotive, fleet management, leasing, or utilities.
Strong network in the fleet/utility sector is an advantage.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Commercially astute with the ability to understand client requirements and position solutions.
Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working independently while reporting into a structured team.
