It's an exciting time to be part of UKSBS as we transform our business to be the leading UK public sector business service provider. We aim to become a very different organisation over the next few years as we move to a modern multi-platform, digitally enabled organisation.
We are now seeking a Client Onboarding Manager to represent the service in projects across the UKSBS change pipeline, predominantly supporting the onboarding of new clients and managing change requests from existing ones. Your leadership will ensure the service is fit for future clients, translating their requirements into effective delivery with our operational teams. You will also play a key role in UKSBS's wider transformation, supporting smooth transitions from legacy systems to the UKSBS service and system offering.
Duties will include, but are not limited to the following:
Engaging internally and externally with stakeholders and end users to understand, gather, define and document service requirements for onboarding clients to the HR Service.
Communicating information between all interested parties to ensure that everyone is informed, with particular focus on service readiness and team preparedness.
Identifying inefficiencies and implement process controls, automation and best practice to streamline HR workflows and reduce manual intervention.
Leading the preparation of business cases and documentation from both service and client perspectives to provide clarity on service requirements.
Exercising sound judgment, creativity and flexibility to analyse complex issues, determine appropriate solutions and take decisive action to resolve them.
Coordinating and provide direction to the corporate onboarding team on any client onboarding requirements specific to the service.
Acting as the single point of contact for Subject Matter Experts, Specialists and Senior Operations Managers for project inputs, outputs and updates relating to onboarding and service change.
Partnering with service delivery teams to build readiness and ensure client needs are met in line with agreed service schedules.
Supporting the Senior Management Team in delivering continuous improvement initiatives and optimising service performance.
To do this role well, you will need:
Strong understanding of HR operations, systems and data flows within a shared services or multi-organisation environment.
Proven experience coordinating complex change or onboarding activity, ensuring service readiness and minimal disruption to delivery.
Skilled in stakeholder management and communication, able to engage confidently with clients, service teams and project partners. Being able to translate technical information into accessible updates and documentation.
Analytical and solutions-focused, using data and insight to inform decisions, improve processes and resolve service issues.
Experienced in mapping and documenting processes, identifying opportunities for automation and standardisation.
Collaborative and inclusive, fostering positive relationships across teams and leading through influence rather than authority.
Adaptable and resilient, remaining calm and focused in fast-paced, evolving environments.
Customer-focused mindset, ensuring new client needs are met while protecting service quality and compliance.
