New Home Sales Consultant - Fixed Term Contract (9 Months)


Location: Initially office-based, transitioning to on-site show home (St Albans)

We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic

New Home Sales Consultant

to join our team on an initial 9-month contract. The role will begin in our agency office before moving to an on-site show home as the development progresses. While this is a fixed-term position, there may be future opportunities within the New Homes division or elsewhere in our organisation for the right candidate.

In this role, you will be the first point of contact for prospective buyers, guiding them through every step of the purchasing process. You'll play a key role in showcasing the development, providing expert advice, and delivering an exceptional customer experience from first enquiry to completion.

What we're looking for:



A minimum of

three years' experience

in New Homes sales. In-depth knowledge of

pre-release marketing

,

on-site sales

, and

sales progression

within a New Homes environment. A good understanding of the

Consumer Code for New Homes

.

Key responsibilities:



Engage with potential buyers to understand their needs and preferences. Conduct property viewings and tours, clearly demonstrating the features and benefits of each home. Provide accurate information on layouts, pricing, availability, and purchasing options. Assist clients in completing necessary paperwork and gathering key information. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the local market and competing developments. Follow up with leads and build strong relationships to convert interest into sales. Liaise closely with the site team to keep buyers informed throughout their journey. Organise and manage handovers and move-ins on completion day.

What you'll bring:



Proven experience in new homes sales. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a natural ability to build rapport. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Confidence using CRM systems and Microsoft Office. A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle. A genuine passion for helping people find their perfect home.
