 Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, and highly skilled Neurology Consultant to join our team on a locum basis in Northern Ireland. The successful candidate will provide expert neurological care, support the multidisciplinary team, and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient services across the trust.
Key Responsibilities: 
 Provide expert clinical care for patients with neurological conditions in both outpatient and inpatient settings. 
 Lead and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, including case discussions and complex patient management. 
 Supervise and support junior doctors, trainees, and other clinical staff. 
 Ensure compliance with local and national clinical governance, audit, and quality standards. 
 Maintain accurate and timely patient records in accordance with trust policies. 
 Participate in service development initiatives and contribute to ongoing improvement of neurology services. 
 Provide on-call cover as required by the service rota. 
 Person Specification / Essential Criteria: 
 Fully registered with the General Medical Council (GMC) with a license to practice in the UK. 
 Completion of CCT (Certificate of Completion of Training) in Neurology or equivalent. 
 Substantial clinical experience in the field of neurology, with a proven track record in both inpatient and outpatient care. 
 Excellent communication, leadership, and team-working skills. 
 Ability to work autonomously and make clinical decisions with confidence. 
 Commitment to continuous professional development and adherence to NHS policies. 
Desirable Criteria: 
 Experience in subspecialty areas such as stroke, epilepsy, neuromuscular disorders, or movement disorders. 
 Experience in research or teaching. 
 Familiarity with NHS electronic patient record systems in Northern Ireland.
