Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care, assisting the dental team, and ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic. Duties

Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available. Provide high-quality patient care by reassuring patients, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns they may have. Maintain accurate patient records and assist with administrative tasks as needed, including scheduling appointments and managing patient flow. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including infection control protocols. Sterilise instruments and maintain cleanliness in the treatment areas to uphold a hygienic environment. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care to promote overall dental health.

Skills

Strong patient care abilities, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards patients' needs. Proficient in English, with excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members. Background in nursing or relevant healthcare experience is advantageous. Basic IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling systems. Exceptional organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated when required.
