We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Newly Qualified Litigator to join our legal team. Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation and management of litigation cases from inception through to resolution. Conduct legal research and analyse relevant case law, statutes, and legal precedents. Draft pleadings, affidavits, witness statements, and other legal documents with accuracy and attention to detail. Support senior litigators in court proceedings, including attending hearings and trials as required. Engage in negotiations with opposing parties to facilitate favourable settlement agreements. Maintain organised case files and ensure all documentation complies with legal standards and deadlines. Liaise with clients, witnesses, and external counsel to gather information and provide updates on case progress. Keep abreast of developments in litigation law and best practices to enhance professional expertise.

Requirements

Recent qualification as a solicitor or barrister specialising in litigation. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to advocate effectively on behalf of clients. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously under tight deadlines. Proficient in legal research tools and case management software. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, tailored to diverse audiences. A proactive attitude with a keen interest in developing a career within litigation law. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
