We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries. Duties

Safely operate company vehicles, including vans and lorries, adhering to all road safety regulations and company policies. Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to ensure timely arrival at destinations. Load and unload goods, often requiring heavy lifting, with the assistance of appropriate equipment when necessary. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and documentation as required. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly. Ensure the security of goods during transit and handle items with care to prevent damage.

Requirements

Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar commercial driving role. Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently. Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members. Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan routes effectively. Knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations relevant to commercial driving. Flexibility to work various shifts as required, including early mornings or late evenings if necessary.
