Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Office Manager to oversee our office operations and ensure a smooth workflow. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, experience in team management, and a solid understanding of human resources. This role is pivotal in maintaining an efficient office environment while supporting our staff and enhancing productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all incoming phone calls and emails, ensuring prompt and professional responses.
Welcome and assist customers in the showroom and over the phone, handling product enquiries.
Schedule appointments and manage calendars for surveyors and fitters.
Liaise with manufacturers and customers to ensure smooth sales progression.
Maintain office supplies and inventory, placing orders as needed.
Process invoices for completed jobs and handle customer payments.
Provide excellent, responsive customer service at all times.
Receive and check garage door deliveries.
Handle warranty claims and coordinate resolutions.
Obtain customer reviews for various online platforms.
Support the team with general administrative tasks as required.
Requirements:
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Previous experience in an office environment is essential.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Friendly, professional, and approachable manner.
Willingness to learn about our product range and technical details.
Computer literate; knowledge of Sage 200 is an advantage.
GCSE or equivalent (preferred).
Minimum 3 years' experience in customer service and administration (preferred).
Full UK driving licence (preferred).
Fluent in English (required).
