About the Role



Wavenet is a technology-driven company committed to innovation and excellence. We're excited to offer two fantastic apprenticeship opportunities for individuals looking to build a rewarding career in IT while making a real difference in the NHS.


As a

Deskside Apprentice

, you'll be embedded on-site with our NHS client (CNWL), gaining hands-on experience supporting a wide range of IT systems and users. Over the course of the 2-year program, you'll rotate between two key areas:

Deskside Field Support

and

End User Device Management (EUDM)

- giving you broad exposure and real-world experience.

Key Responsibilities



Rotate every 6 months between Deskside Support and EUDM Proactive Management Manage and resolve IT service tickets, ensuring timely completion within SLA Troubleshoot and provide support for hardware, software, and network issues Support cybersecurity awareness campaigns, including phishing simulations Maintain accurate IT asset and configuration records Collaborate with onsite and remote technical teams Contribute to policy development and IT improvement initiatives Engage with NHS users to deliver exceptional frontline IT support


Qualifications

What We're Looking For



A genuine interest in IT and technology Basic understanding of computers, software, and networks Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail Good communication and team collaboration abilities Eagerness to learn and improve continuously

Entry Requirements



3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent) at grade 3+ (D or above) Equivalent international qualifications must be formally recognized in the UK
