Part of this role will involve supporting and collaborating in audit, patient and service-related data collection, management and analyses, resulting in the collection of high-quality data. This will involve both patient-facing and data administration work. You will supervise members of the team involved in the collation of clinical outcome data collection and in embedding better data collection and management systems within the Service.

This is a 0.4WTE, 2 day per week equivalent post.

The role will involve providing psychological assessment and treatment and offering advice and consultation on clients' psychological care to referrers, non- psychologist colleagues and other, non-professional carers. The post holder will draw up and co-ordinate specialist veteran-specific risk assessments and care plans involving multiple others, including partner agency workers and peers. Liaison with wider NHS, statutory bodies, local authorities and the third sector is key to ensure the appropriate support is in place for veterans and their families.

Care plans are comprehensive, covering mental health, social and welfare needs, necessitating extensive liaison with external services. Family members will also be expected to be included in any care planning with the veteran's consent.

The successful applicant will contribute to governance and audit within the team, as well as mentoring and supervision. The post holder will operate to the requirements of the service operational policy and strategy, and deliver safe, evidence based, effective, culturally competent care in a timely manner to veterans.
