THE PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

NICU ITU-trained Nurses

to fulfil urgent staffing requirements in the

Ashford and St Peter's region

This is an exciting opportunity for qualified neonatal nurses who have completed a

Neonatal Intensive Care Course

, as this is the specific skill set currently short on every shift.


The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering expert clinical care to premature and critically ill newborns in a high-dependency and intensive care setting. You'll work closely with a multidisciplinary team to stabilise, treat, and support infants, ensuring their safety, development, and well-being.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

Valid NMC registration as a Registered Nurse


Neonatal Intensive Care Course certification (essential)


Minimum 6 months experience in a NICU/ITU setting within the past 3 years


Excellent clinical and communication skills


Able to work independently and as part of a team


Willingness to work a range of shifts (days, nights, weekends)


Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to undergo one)


Completion of mandatory training (BLS, Manual Handling, Infection Control, Safeguarding, etc.)
