We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Night Auditor to join our team in Luton, United Kingdom. As a Night Auditor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel during overnight hours, maintaining high standards of guest satisfaction, and overseeing financial accuracy.
Welcome late-arriving guests and bid farewell to early departures, providing exceptional customer service throughout their stay
Perform daily reconciliation of the hotel's financial transactions, including checking and preparing reports, completing audits, and collating necessary paperwork for departures
Manage and confirm reservation details and accounts for in-house guests, ensuring all information is recorded accurately
Handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently, maximizing guest satisfaction while maintaining property safety and security
Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and concerns, ensuring total customer satisfaction
Prepare and distribute relevant reports to appropriate departments
Oversee the hotel's overnight operations, taking initiative to resolve any issues that may arise
Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience
Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Exceptional customer service and communication skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Excellent time management skills and ability to work autonomously
Good understanding of finance and accounting practices
Proficiency in basic computer skills and hotel management software (knowledge of Opera Cloud is a plus)
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions independently
Flexibility to work night shifts (typically 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM), including weekends and holidays
Ability to handle cash and process credit card transactions accurately
Willingness to take ownership and initiative in various tasks as required
Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
