Night Care Assistant - Hollywynd Rest Home, West Worthing

We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated

Night Care Assistant

to join our team at Hollywynd Rest Home. As a Night Care Assistant, you will provide personal care and support to residents with a range of physical and mental health needs. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our residents while working in a caring and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

Providing personal care and support to residents, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding. Assisting residents with mobility and transfers, using appropriate equipment and techniques. Supporting residents with their daily needs and promoting dignity and independence. Monitoring and recording residents' health and wellbeing, reporting any changes or concerns to senior staff. Following care plans and risk assessments to ensure residents receive appropriate support. Working collaboratively with other care staff and healthcare professionals to meet residents' needs.
Hours

3 night shifts per week (19:45 - 08:00)

Shifts will include

every other weekend

Requirements

A compassionate and caring nature, with a genuine desire to help others. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with residents and colleagues. Previous care experience is preferred but not essential. Willingness to undertake training and development opportunities to enhance your knowledge and skills. Commitment to teamwork and contributing to a supportive workplace. Flexibility to work weekends as required.
