Summerhill Care Home is a privately-owned care home registered for a maximum of 29 service users and is based in a quiet location in the rural town of Alnwick.

What you will be doing: -
To assist with care and support of the service users under the supervision of a senior in charge.
To encourage and promote the quality of life according to needs as identified in a service users personal care plan.
Assist service users with personal care tasks, such as washing, dressing, and eating.
Assist in the safe lifting, transferring, repositioning and movement of service users.

Good communication skills to effectively interact with residents and fellow colleagues.

Desirable but not essential:
A diploma in Health and Social Care Level 2
Our vision for our employees is to support and develop the staff who work for us to be the best they can be and to support this we provide free in-house on-line and classroom-based training to all care staff.
Previous experience is not required but would be welcomed.
A full induction package is provided.
Potential candidates will be subject to a DBS check.
