Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in care homes. Your primary responsibility will be to assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being while promoting independence. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and the ability to follow care plans effectively.

Duties

Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Support individuals with mobility and physical activities, ensuring safety at all times. Help with meal preparation and feeding as necessary, adhering to dietary requirements. Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in clients' conditions. Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals. . Participate in the development and implementation of personalised care plans tailored to individual needs. Uphold the dignity and respect of all clients while fostering a supportive environment.

Experience

Previous experience in a care assistant role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. Familiarity with IT systems for record keeping and communication is advantageous. Strong command of English is required for effective communication with clients and team members. A valid driving licence is desirable for those providing home care services. Experience in a care home setting or similar environment would be beneficial but not mandatory.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: 12.21-12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
