We currently have a vacancy for a Night care assistant to come and work with our great team. This is a full-time or part time role that requires 24-36 hours per week. These roles do involve shift work between the hours of 8 am and 8 pm 3 nights per week, as well as the weekend, working.

Main aims of the job

To meet the personal needs of the residents. To observe and promote the residents' choice, independence, dignity, privacy, and other rights. To create and maintain good professional relationships with residents, their families, and friends. To assist in the general duties and activities of the home. To work alongside, and support your colleagues

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

Have excellent written and verbal communication skills Have good judgment, problem-solving, and decision making skills The ability to work flexible hours to meet the business needs Effective time keeping and time management Have a genuine interest in older people The ability to work effectively within a team environment Be willing to participate in National Vocational Training Programmes NVQ Level 2, or working towards it.

Pay: 12.21-12.60 per hour
