Night Care Assistant - Towy Castle Care Home

Location: Carmarthen
Pay: 12.60 per hour
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Shifts: 22:00 - 08:00 | 3 nights on, 3 nights off (includes weekends & bank holidays)

About Towy Castle

Towy Castle is a 61-bed residential care home surrounded by landscaped gardens and stunning views over the Towy estuary. For over 35 years, we've provided specialist residential and dementia care, with a warm, person-centred approach delivered by our long-standing team.

Your Role

Support residents with personal care and bedtime routines Provide companionship and reassurance overnight Monitor wellbeing and respond to residents' needs Assist with early morning routines before handover Maintain a safe, calm, and clean environment Work collaboratively with your night team for smooth handovers

What We're Looking For

? Experience in a care setting (essential)
? Knowledge of dementia care and night support (preferred)
? Calm, compassionate, and observant approach
? NVQ/QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards)
? Strong team player with good communication skills
