12.60 per hour

Permanent, Full-Time

Hours:

22:00 - 08:00 | 3 nights on / 3 nights off

Providing Reassurance, Safety, and Care Overnight

Towy Castle Care Home is seeking a dedicated Night Care Assistant to support residents during overnight hours. This role is ideal for someone calm, attentive, and compassionate who understands how vital reassurance and dignity are through the night.

About Towy Castle

Towy Castle is a well-established 61-bed residential care home overlooking the Towy estuary. We specialise in dementia and elderly care and are proud of our experienced, long-standing team and homely environment.

Key Responsibilities

Supporting residents with night-time personal care and comfort Carrying out regular checks and responding promptly to needs Offering reassurance and a calm presence overnight Assisting with early morning routines before handover Maintaining a safe, clean, and quiet environment Communicating effectively with colleagues across shifts

What We're Looking For

? Previous care experience (essential)
? Dementia care awareness (preferred)
? Calm, observant, and dependable approach
? NVQ/QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards)
