We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Night Care Assistant to provide high-quality support to individuals in care homes and within their own homes. Duties

Assist residents or clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility Support individuals with their care plans, ensuring personalised needs are met effectively Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental wellbeing Help with medication administration as directed and in accordance with care plans Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in condition Support clients with light domestic tasks, including meal preparation and light cleaning Drive clients to appointments or outings when necessary, ensuring safe transportation Communicate effectively with team members, family members, and healthcare professionals to coordinate care Follow health and safety procedures diligently to ensure a safe environment for all

Experience

Previous experience working within a care home or providing home care is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates Knowledge of care plans and the ability to adapt support accordingly Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written Valid driving licence is advantageous for roles involving transportation of clients Compassionate nature with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with individuals from diverse backgrounds

Pay: 12.21 per hour
