Overview


We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. This role involves providing high-quality support to individuals in care homes or within their own homes, ensuring their comfort, safety, and wellbeing. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be attentive to residents' needs, and be committed to delivering person-centred care. Previous experience in care settings or home care is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided. Responsibilities



Assisting residents or clients with daily activities such as personal care, mobility, and medication reminders Supporting individuals with meal preparation and feeding where necessary Following personalised care plans to meet each individual's specific needs Maintaining a safe and clean environment in accordance with health and safety regulations Communicating effectively with residents, families, and team members to ensure consistent care delivery Documenting care provided accurately using IT systems and care records Providing emotional support and companionship to enhance residents' quality of life Assisting with light domestic tasks to promote independence and comfort

Requirements

Experience working in a care home or providing home care is preferred but not mandatory Good command of English language, both written and verbal Strong IT skills for documentation and communication purposes Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with residents and colleagues Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to support vulnerable individuals Ability to work as part of a team and follow detailed care plans effectively Reliable, organised, and able to adapt to changing needs of residents or clients

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 12.21-12.71 per hour

Expected hours: 18 - 45 per week
