About us
The Institute of Our Lady of Mercy strives to be of service to the poor, sick and disadvantaged. We do this through a variety of ministries including education, nursing, providing women's outreach services, chaplaincies and providing high quality care homes for the elderly. .
The Mercy Care Centre provides residential care for older people and for people living with dementia in a purpose-built facility, alongside a development of 18 apartments providing "extra care housing." Rated as 'good' in all areas at our last CQC inspection.
Summary
As a Care Assistant, you will be essential in providing compassionate and person centred care to our residents. Reporting to the Senior Care Assistant, your role will involve assisting with personal care, maintaining care plans, and ensuring a safe environment. Your core skills in communication and IT will facilitate effective interactions with residents and staff.
