Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in a care home setting, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a genuine desire to make a positive impact in the lives of those they care for.

Duties

Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation. Implement and follow care plans tailored to individual needs. Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and other team members to ensure seamless care delivery. Support residents in maintaining their independence while providing necessary assistance. Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in residents' conditions to senior staff. Adhere to health and safety regulations while maintaining a clean and organised environment.

Experience

Previous experience in a care assistant role or similar position is desirable but not essential; training will be provided. A good understanding of care plans and the ability to follow them accurately is beneficial. Proficiency in IT skills for documentation purposes is advantageous. Strong command of English is required for effective communication with residents and colleagues. A caring attitude and the ability to empathise with others are essential qualities for success in this role.

Pay: 12.40-13.40 per hour

Expected hours: 19.5 - 39 per week
