We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality support and assistance to individuals in care homes or receiving home care services. The Care Assistant will be responsible for assisting with daily activities, ensuring residents' comfort, and promoting their wellbeing.

Duties



Assist residents or clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Support individuals with mobility and transfer needs, ensuring safety at all times. Help with meal preparation and feeding, respecting dietary requirements and preferences. Maintain accurate care plans and document any changes in residents' conditions. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance residents' quality of life. Follow health and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for all. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members to coordinate care. Assist with medication management as directed by healthcare professionals. Support individuals in engaging with activities that promote mental and physical wellbeing.

Skills



Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to assist others. Good organisational skills to follow care plans accurately. Supporting people with Nursing , Residential and Dementia needs Experience with PCS software - Training available Experience working within a care home or providing home care is advantageous but not essential. Ability to build rapport with residents and demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.21-12.71 per hour

Expected hours: 36 per week
