We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality support and assistance to individuals in home care and within their own homes. This role involves fostering independence, ensuring safety, and delivering personalised care plans tailored to each individual's needs. Responsibilities

Assist clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility Support clients in maintaining their independence and dignity Follow individualised care plans accurately and compassionately Provide companionship and emotional support to clients Assist with medication management as required, following prescribed guidelines Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in client condition Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals Ensure a safe environment by adhering to health and safety policies Support clients with light domestic tasks such as meal preparation and light cleaning

Qualifications

Previous experience working within a care home or providing home care is desirable but not essential. Valid driving licence is advantageous for roles involving community visits Good command of English, both written and spoken Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to support others Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Job Types: Temporary, Zero hours contract

Pay: 12.21-16.52 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week

Work Location: In person
