We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team for 3 WAKING NIGHTS per week. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals in their own home. Responsibilities
Assist clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility, ensuring dignity and respect at all times
Support the implementation of individualised care plans tailored to each clients needs
Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, fostering a caring environment
Assist with medication administration as per care protocols and under supervision
Maintain accurate documentation of care provided, adhering to organisational policies and procedures
Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members to ensure seamless care delivery
Support the organisation of activities and social events to promote well-being and engagement
Assist with household tasks such as light cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation in line with care requirements
Qualifications
Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided
Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal
Basic IT skills for documentation purposes and using organisational systems
Valid driving licence is preferred to support travel between different care settings or clients' homes
Compassionate attitude with a strong sense of professionalism and confidentiality
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
