Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals within care homes and home care settings. Duties

Assisting residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming Supporting individuals with mobility and daily activities according to personalised care plans Administering medication as directed and maintaining accurate records Engaging residents in social activities to promote mental and emotional well-being Maintaining a safe and clean environment in accordance with health and safety regulations Communicating effectively with residents, families, and team members to ensure consistent care delivery Driving residents or equipment when necessary for appointments or outings Updating care plans regularly to reflect changing needs and preferences

Experience

Previous experience working within a care home or providing home care is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate Knowledge of care plans, health & safety procedures, and safeguarding policies is advantageous Good IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes Fluency in English, both spoken and written, is required Strong communication skills to build rapport with residents, families, and colleagues Valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate transportation needs

Pay: 12.21-12.50 per hour
