Job Description
Job Specification:
To provide night care for the service users under the guidance and supervision for the Home Manager, trained nursing staff and the senior care assistants. To undertake other activities to assist in the running of the home as required.Essential:
Genuine interest in working within a caring environmentAbility to communicate effectively at all levels
Team player
Willingness to participate in vocational training programmes
Satisfactory Police checks (DBS)
Basic understanding of the Health and Safety at Work Act
Desirable:
Previous experience working within a care settingRelevant vocational qualification (achieved or working towards)
Evidence of having undertaken relevant training (ie lifting and handling, health and safety, food hygiene)
30 hrs per week (12hr shifts) with the possibility of holiday cover days/nights
