As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting clients with daily activities and promoting their independence while adhering to care plans.

Duties

Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.Support clients with mobility and physical activities to enhance their quality of life.Prepare and serve meals according to dietary requirements and preferences.Maintain accurate records of client care and report any changes in health or behaviour to the senior or manager.

Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.Follow established care plans and contribute to the development of individualized care strategies.Engage clients in social activities and companionship to promote mental well-being.Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by adhering to health and safety regulations.

Experience

Previous experience in home care or a similar role is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.

A good communication of English is required for effective communication with clients and team members.

Familiarity with IT systems for record-keeping and communication is advantageous.

A valid driving licence is preferred but not essential.

An understanding of care plans and the ability to implement them effectively is beneficial.
