Milford Care are looking for an experienced, permanent full-time Night carer to join our fantastic, hard-working team at Milford House care home. Milford House do require night carers to have some previous experience in a care home setting.

Milford House offers exceptional care within a beautiful grade II listed Georgian manor house close to Duffield and Belper.

Details of this Night Carer position and what the home is offering:



Permanent, full-time Night Carer contracts, working four 12 hour shifts over a 7 day rota at an hourly rate of 13.29. 15p extra per hour if you have an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care A comprehensive induction and ongoing learning and development opportunities A supportive atmosphere with a fantastic team spirit

Purpose of Position



Read and write reports in Care Plans. Assist Residents to dress, undress, to bath and to Toilet. Help Residents with mobility problems and other physical disabilities such as incontinence, help in the care and use of aids and personal equipment. Help in the promotion of mental and physical activity of Residents through communication, taking them out, sharing with them in activities such as reading, writing, hobbies and recreations. Assist Residents at meal times Answer emergency bells, door bell and telephone, and greet visitors and report to Nurse in charge. Take part in staff and Resident meetings and also in training activities as required. Maintain a high standard of hygiene to prevent cross infection as stipulated in the group's infection control procedures To maintain confidentiality regarding all aspects of care and management of the home.

What We Are Looking For In a Carer:



It is important you have some experience in a UK nursing home setting. A flexible approach to shift patterns and able to adhere to a 7 day rota You will be compassionate and respectful and able to build relationships with colleagues and those that you care for
