Are you a compassionate and reliable individual looking to make a difference in the lives of others? Join our dedicated team at Medhurst care Home, Crosskeys, where we provide high quality, person centered care to our elderly residents in a warm and supportive environment.
We have two shifts available, 12 hour shifts, worked between Monday and Sunday with alternate weekends off.
About the role:
As a night care assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the wellbeing and comfort of our residents throughout the night. Your duties will include:
assisting residents with personal care needs throughout the night. providing emotional support and companionship. monitoring residents health & safety. completing routine checks and recording observations. responding promptly to call bells and emergencies. promoting a calm and restful environment.
What we're looking for:
A kind, respectful and patient approach. previous experience in a care setting is desirable but not essential. willingness to work night shifts including weekends on a rota basis. a team player with good communication skills. a genuine passion for elderly care.
