Summary

We are seeking a Night Care Assistant to join our compassionate team at The Glenmore Residential Home in Newport. This pivotal role contributes significantly to our mission of enhancing the wellbeing of our residents through personalized care and support.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality personal care and support to residents in accordance with their individual care plans. Assist with daily living activities, ensuring residents' comfort and dignity. Supervise care staff and provide guidance as needed. Maintain accurate records of residents' progress and care needs. Foster a warm and welcoming environment that promotes resident engagement. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members to ensure continuity of care. Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge. Uphold the values of respect, dignity, and compassion in all interactions.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a care home setting. Strong understanding of care plans and individual resident needs. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with residents and families. Supervisory experience is preferred but not mandatory. Leadership qualities that inspire confidence among team members. A valid driving license is a plus but not essential. IT skills for maintaining records are beneficial.
