Responsibilities

Assist clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility Support residents with their care plans, ensuring all needs are met according to individual requirements Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any concerns or changes in condition to senior staff Assist with medication management as directed by healthcare professionals Ensure the safety and comfort of clients at all times, adhering to health and safety guidelines Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure coordinated care

Skills

Experience working within a care home or providing home care is advantageous Ability to understand and follow care plans accurately Good organisational skills to manage multiple clients' needs efficiently Proficiency in basic IT systems for record keeping and communication purposes Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written Compassionate nature with excellent interpersonal skills to build trust with clients Ability to work independently while also being an effective team player
